Tour of Taj Mahal.com arranges for an exotic Rajasthan
and Agra Cultural Tour for a duration of 17 days and
16 nights. The destinations you will get to cover include
Delhi, Agra, Sariska, Jaipur, Samode, Mandawa, Bikaner,
Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and back to Delhi.
Day 01: Delhi
On your arrival in Delhi, our tour representative
will meet you and assist you in your transfer to the
hotel in which you are required to spend the night in
the Tour in Rajasthan.
Day 02: Delhi
On the second day of your Rajasthan and Agra Cultural
Tour, you will be proceeding for a half day sightseeing
tour of New Delhi that includes Connaught Place, India
Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Humayun's Tomb in the
tour itinerary. Connaught Place is the shopping and
the business district of New Delhi. The India Gate is
a memorial build by Edwin Lutyens to commemorate the
death of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives
in the World War I and the Afghan Wars in the Tour in
Rajasthan.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
The third day finds you touring Old Delhi and visiting
Raj Ghat, the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and
more. Raj Ghat is the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi.

is a shopaholic's paradise. A very well-known market

Day 04: Agra

for the sightseeing tour of Agra city and visit Sikandra,
Itmad-Ud-Daulah's tomb, Agra Fort and the magnificent
Taj Mahal. At Sikandra you will gat to see the famous
tomb of Emperor Akbar at whose behest the construction
of the tomb was started during his lifetime. Agra Fort
is a majestic citadel made up of red sandstone. Your
tour to Agra remains incomplete without a visit to the
Taj Mahal.
Day 05: Agra/Sariska
On the fifth day of your Rajasthan and Agra Cultural
Tour, we will be heading for Sariska. En route you will
visit Fatehpur Sikri and Durgah of Sufi Saint Sheikh
Salim Chisti. Fatehpur Sikri was a built by Akbar in
the honor of the Sufi saint Salim Chisti. You will also
get to visit The Sariska Tiger Reserve and the National
Park that are renowned for nilgai, leopard, wild boar,
jaguar and four-horned antelope who finds a secured
asylum here.
Day 06: Sariska/Jaipur
In the morning you will have a delightful time exploring
and experiencing the natural reservoir of Sariska. In
the afternoon we will be heading for Jaipur. On your
arrival in Jaipur you will transferred to the hotel in
the Tour in Agra.
Day 07: Jaipur
Proceed for visit to the Amber Fort. Afternoon city
tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace, Museum, Hawa Mahal
and the Observatory.
Day 08: Jaipur/Samode
You will be traveling to Samode and on arrival,
you will be checking into the Hotel.
Day 09: Samode/Mandawa
Half of the day at Samode is devoted to sightseeing.
Here you would see the awesome Samode Palace. In the
afternoon you will be heading for Mandwa.
Day 10: Mandawa/Bikaner
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. The
havelis of the Shekhawati are worth a visit. They continue
to testify the royal splendor. In the afternoon, you
will head for Bikaner by surface and check in at the
hotel.
Day 11: Bikaner/Jaisalmer
You would love to visit the old forts in Bikaner
built by Raja Rai Singh and the Golden Jubilee Museum.
The majestic structure of the fort will impress you.
It stands tall in Bikaner and recounts a tale of its
invincibility. In the afternoon, we will be proceeding
by surface to Jaisalmer.
Day 12: Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing.
Here you would visit the Fort, Falk Museum, Patva ki
Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli and Diwan Nathmal ki Haveli,
Badal Niwas Palace. Afternoon proceed for excursion
to Sam Sand Dunes.
Day 13: Jaisalmer/Jodhpur
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be
traveling to Jodhpur by surface. On arrival in Jodhpur,
you are required to check in at the hotel.
Day 14: Jodhpur
Your Jodhpur visit is unlikely to achieve completion
without a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort. It is one of
the most magnificent and formidable forts in entire
Rajasthan. You will also get to see the Taj of the blue
city, Jaswant Thada which is a royal monument made of
white marble.
Day 15: Jodhpur/Udaipur
On the fifteenth day we will be driving to Udaipur.
En route visit Ranakpur and the Sun Temple. Ranakpur
is famous for some of the marvelous carve temples in
Amber stone that can be traced back to the fifteenth
century. On arrival, you will be transferred to the
hotel.
Day 16: Udaipur
At Udaipur you have a lot to look forward to which
include the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion -
Ki - Bari, Fatehsagar Lake, Pratap Smarak, Museum, Zoo.
The Jagdish Temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh.
This temple cost him a whopping 1.5 million in the seventeenth
century. The Fatehsagar Lake is a man-made wonder, incomparable
in its picturesque beauty. In the evening you will be
transfered to the railway station to board the train
for Delhi.
Day 17: Delhi/Departure
You will be received at the Delhi Railway Station
by our tour operator. Check into the hotel and refresh
yourself. In the evening you will be heading for the
International Airport to board flight back home.
