Traveling in and around Delhi is very easy and convenient. And this fact can very well be attributed to strong system of transportation in Delhi. There are several types of transportation available in Delhi. These are;

This capital city also features the largest fleet of environment-friendly CNG buses in the world. Besides, the three-wheeled scooters or auto rickshaws also run on the roads accommodating three people at a time. Auto Rickshaws are little costly than the buses but less costly than taxis. These can enter streets. These auto rickshaws have electronic meters that display the fare at the end of the journey. Apart from these two modes of transportation, one can also look for taxis also. Taxis are usually found on the taxi stands outside airports and hotels. Taxis have electronic meters that display the fare at the end of the journey. Basically, taxis are privately owned. In fact, car rental services can also be availed in Delhi for roads as there are numerous reputed car rental companies here.

Delhi is well connected with railway routes to all the major parts of the country. It offers express trains to all the parts of the country.
