Delhi
Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
When you arrive at the New Delhi airport on your first
day of Golden Triangle & Khajuraho tours you will
be warmly received by our representative and then transferred
to the hotel for night stay.
Day 02: DELHI
Today morning after breakfast enjoy sightseeing tour
of Delhi. You will visit the various tourist hotspots
in Delhi like Qutab Minar, India Gate, the Red Fort,
Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Laxmi Narayan
Temple and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Rest of the day is
spent in leisure. Overnight is spent at Delhi.
Day 03: DELHI - JAIPUR
Today we will go to the capital city of Rajasthan ,Jaipur
by train .The pink city as it is called is a city of
beautiful palaces and splendid forts. On your arrival
in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. You will visit the
Amber Fort, built in 1592 by Man Singh I nestled on
a hillock . Next day we will visit the City Palace ,Hawa
Mahal or the palace of winds with 953 windows from where
royal ladies were used to see the ceremonies of the
court. Also the Jantar Mantar, which is a giant observatory
of masonry astronomical instruments and they give correct
information till today. Come back to the hotel and spend
the night there.
Day 04: JAIPUR - AGRA
On 4th day of Golden Triangle & Khajuraho tour we
will start for Agra and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri,
the World Heritage Site, built in 1569 by Mughal emperor
Akbar. When you reach Agra the city of the Taj Mahal
you will check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: AGRA
The major attraction in Agra is the marble wonder, the
Taj Mahal. This monument is a symbol of love and it
has been built by Shah Jahan in memory of his loving
wife Mumtaz Mahal .. Next we go to the Agra Fort built
in red sandstone and here you will find the Khas Mahal,
Musamman Burj, Jehangiri Mahal, Diwan-e-khas, Sheesh
Mahal, Diwan-I-Aam, Hamam and Moti Masjid. You will
also visit the colorful markets of Agra. Do some shopping
here .Come back to the hotel for a night stay.
Day 06: AGRA - JHANSI - ORCHHA
Today you will catch a train for Jhansi. When you arrive
there we will travel to Orchha by road and check-in
at the hotel. This place located in the heart of Bundelkhand
has many temples and shrines. Here you will see the
historical monuments and temples as well as the palaces.Also
you will get a chance to admire the beautiful frescoes
of the Bundela School of Painting. We return to the
hotel for night stay after the sightseeing tour .
Day 07: ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO
Today on the 7th day in the morning we will drive to
the temple town of Khajuraho.Here you will find a perfect
example of Indo-Aryan architecture. This place has temples
and erotic sculptures and is often visited by art lovers
as well as the historians. Earlier in Khajuraho there
were 80 Hindu temples but today only 22 temples remain
in perfect condition. When you arrive at Khajuraho,
check-in at the hotel. Spend some time in leisure then
we will visit the Eastern and Western Khajuraho temples.
There are intricate carvings and alluring sculptures
here . You return back to the hotel later on and spend
the night at the hotel.
Day 08: KHAJURAHO - DEPARTURE
Today on the last day of Golden Triangle & Khajuraho
tour we will arrange your transfer to the airport to
board the flight back home.
