of Jaipur ,Sawai Jai Singh. The valley reminded him
of the Vrindavan and an idol of Shri Govind Deoji an
incarnation of Lord Krishna was installed then here.
There are temple of Govind Deoji and Natawarji here
and adjacent to it is the Kanak Bagh. There is the Dharbawati
River, which earlier flowed across the city though now
its just a Lake Mansagar.
The Lake Mansagar was regarded as a sacred lake as holy
waters of many rivers drained in to it.
The breathtaking view of the Govind Deoji Temple brightly
illuminated in the night is a sight to behold.
The chanting of the mantras and Lord's aarti all will
transport you to a sublime world. Tourists who arrive
here can listen to Bhajans being sung throughout the
day and the Kanak Valley becomes alive during the festivals
like Teej and Gangaur.
