tourists ,some of the famous Rajasthan Gardens are ;
Bada Bagh: Bada Bagh is located at a distance
of 3 km from Jaisalmer which is ensconced like an oasis
with a stunning backdrop provided by a lake and a dam.
The garden was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II .There
are royal cenotaphs of the former rulers here in Bada
Bagh.
Ram Niwas Garden: This garden in Rajasthan was
a part of the famine relief project undertaken by Maharaja
Ram Singh II. This garden was built in Jaipur in 1868.
There is a zoo, an aviary, a greenhouse, a herbarium,
a museum and sports grounds here in the Ram Niwas Garden.
One museum which needs mention here is the Albert Hall
museum with Indo-Saracenic structure.There is also a
modern art gallery and an open-air theatre called the
Rabindra Manch .
Vidyadhar Garden: Vidyadhar Garden is nestled
near the Sisodia Gardens of Jaipur and is dedicated
to the architect of Jaipur Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya.You
will find a picturesque vineyard, galleries, pavilions
and beautiful murals which narrate the scenes from the
life of Lord Krishna.
Gulab Bagh: The Garden Of Roses
or Gulab Bagh is located in the Sajjan Niwas Park, Udaipur.
This garden was built by Sajjan Singh and there are
numerous varieties of roses from all over the world
here. Other attractions are a library called Saraswati
Bhawan Library ,earlier known as the Victoria Hall and
the toy train Aravalli Express which lets you take a
tour of the garden.
Sahelion Ki Bari: This garden which means the
'Garden of the Maids of Honor' in Udaipur was specifically
built for the ladies of the royal household. It is a
beautifully landscaped garden with huge lawns and shady
pavilions on the banks of the picturesque Fateh Sagar
Lake . The marble elephants, chiseled kiosks ,lovely
fountains in the pools of the garden are surely going
to mesmerize you.
Mandore Gardens: This Gardens of Rajasthan is
nestled 9 km from Jodhpur. This is a huge garden and
here there are rock terraces as well as the remains
of the former capital of Marwar ,Mandore .There are
royal cenotaphs here in the garden and it is here in
the Mandore Gardens that the famous Marwar Festival
is held.
Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh: Sisodia Rani-ka-Bagh of
Jaipur is known as the largest and most renowned garden
built by Sawai Jai Singh II for his Sisodia Queen. This
is a multi-level Gardens of Rajasthan and here there
are picturesque fountains, streams and decorated pavilions.
