offer these to the Goddess.
Gangotri Temple located in the enchanting
vicinity of deodars and pines, this temple is perched
at the height of 3200 meter. Near this temple is a river.
According to famous Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva sat
on a natural rock submerged in this river and received
the Goddess Ganga in his matted locks.
Kedarnath Temple located at an altitude
of 3580 meter, this temple is consecrated to Lord Shiva.
This temple is chiseled out of grey slabs of stones.
In the temple there is one garbha griha where the conical
rock formation is situated and a Mandapam pilgrims and
visitors can sit. Outside the door of the temple, there
is a large statue of Nandi Bull also.
Badrinath Temple situated at an altitude
of 3130 meter at the banks of Alaknanda, this temple
is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The image of Lord Vishnu
was established by Adi Shankarcharya in this temple.
There is a hot water sulphur spring also near this temple
called Tapt Kund.
