common otter, barking, deer, goral, Himalayan palm civet,
hedgehog, Sikkim vole, Himalayan rat, Hodgson's fly
squirrel, and wild boar.

The Nanda Devi sanctuary has a rich vegetation
of mainly fir, birch, rhododendron and juniper. The
chief vegetation gives way to grasses, prone and mosses.
The Nanda Devi sanctuary is the home to many animals
ranging from brown bear, Bhural. Langaur, Goral, Himalayan
Black Bear, Himalayan Musk deer, leopard and snow leopard.
